At the center of Breyer’s actions is the theft of Leader Technologies’ social networking invention—an act that led directly to the creation of Facebook and handed the Pilgrims Society a powerful tool for global control. Leader Technologies, founded by Michael McKibben in Columbus, Ohio, developed a revolutionary platform for scalable digital collaboration, formalized in U.S. Patent No. 7,139,761 in 2006 and other related patents.

On October 26, 2005, Breyer’s firm, Accel Partners, Jim Swartz and Ping Li, met with Leader Technologies under a nondisclosure agreement, supposedly to discuss investment, which is what entrepreneurs and venture capitalists do. It’s a dance where entrepreneurs share without disclosing the secret sauce and the venture capitalists cajole the entrepreneur to share the secrets.

During that meeting, McKibben says he picked up strange vibes from the two Accel Partners partners, so he said he was very cautious with them. He said that the duo were smug and dismissive, while simultaneously wanting to know more. Mike left the meeting having danced around his secret sauce to avoid any real disclosure. Little did he know that that Facebook already had his code secretly from his patent attorney James P. Chandler and his Washington, D.C. conspirator the IBM Eclipse Foundation.

Accel Partners withheld from Michael McKibben that they had already invested $12.7 million in Facebook months earlier (and were faking their pitch of VC confidentiality to get him to open up), securing a 15% stake and valuing the company at $87.5 million. They also failed to disclose that Jim Breyer and Mark Zuckerberg were engaging Stanford students to develop apps for McKibben’s stolen technology, which Zuckerberg later claimed in a separate case he built in under two weeks while preparing for Harvard finals. Breyer joined Facebook’s board of directors, a role he held until 2013, guiding its growth and strategy while Zuckerberg served as the public figurehead—a front for Breyer’s broader objectives. The timing was deliberate: Facebook’s platform closely replicated Leader Technologies’ invention, which had taken 175,000 man-hours and elite expertise to create with its advanced capabilities.

On Oct. 26, 2005, James W. Breyer and Mark E. Zuckerberg committed a crime. They fraudulently solicited Stanford University students to help them write applications to run on Facebook. Facebook’s software engine is the invention of Columbus, Ohio innovators Leader Technologies and their founder, Michael T. McKibben. Breyer and Zuckerberg were engaged in fraudulent inducement to misappropriate property that did not belong to them. The fact that they crossed state lines to commit this crime amounts to racketeering under the RICO Act, among other offenses. In late 2008, Leader Technologies filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Facebook, claiming the social media giant had used their technology without permission. The 2010 trial confirmed Facebook’s infringement on 11 of 11 claims, a damning verdict that exposed Breyer’s role in the theft. Yet, in a shocking twist, the Obama magistrate judge, Leonard P. Stark, ruled Leader’s patent invalid due to an on-sale bar issue, a decision upheld on appeal despite evidence of judicial conflicts tied to Pilgrims Society influence.

Angela Chao’s Mysterious Death

It is a clear and present danger that social media had been taken over by people who are undermining our fundamental rights as Americans. They have also stolen enormous assets from us, especially the true inventors of social media. These violations must be corrected.

I urge you to support the enforcement of the Miller Act to compensate Michael McKibben and his team for their invention of social networking.

America’s leaders must continue to support patent rights, which are the foundation of property rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution, and protect Americans from social media abuses.
